Michigan tight end Jake Butt showed great potential through his first two years in the Maize and Blue, but with a combination of improved health and a scheme that highlights his position, he had a breakout campaign this fall. Named the top tight end in the Big Ten after pulling in 48 receptions for 620 yards and three scores, he’s now left with the tough decision on returning for another year moving on to the next level.
“I’d say it’s 50-50 right now,” said Butt. “I can’t say I’m leaning one way or the other, especially without talking to Coach [Jim] Harbaugh.
