MINNEAPOLIS – Michigan’s biggest weapon was unleashed Saturday at Minnesota.
Jabrill Peppers, U-M’s standout kick returner/safety/offensive Swiss Army knife, did a little of everything in the 29-26 win over the Golden Gophers.
He set up U-M’s first two touchdowns with impressive returns in the first half. Then he scored the third touchdown on a third-quarter run and added three tackles and two pass breakups on defense.
He lined up at quarterback a few times, once in the fourth quarter when he was to throw to Jake Butt for a potential TD. But it was covered.
