FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Jabrill Peppers' only public appearance during this Orange Bowl week has been on Michigan's practice field.
But his absence is something U-M will have to face if he leaves early for the NFL.
As Michigan searches for his potential replacement at strongside linebacker, a few young players have emerged, including freshman Josh Metellus and redshirt freshman Jordan Glasgow.
For Friday's game, redshirt sophomore Noah Furbush will play the Sam position in big packages, when Peppers moves to the secondary. If Peppers were injured, Metellus would take his place.
As for next year?
