ANN ARBOR -- Isaiah Livers sat at his locker inside the Alamodome, stunned that Michigan had lost its final game. If he had his way, his sophomore season would have started the next day.
He talked about how he'd be teaching the incoming freshmen the meaning of teamwork. That he was going to use what the outgoing seniors had taught him. "It's going to improve my game so much," he said. "They don't even know."
The Michigan coaches are counting on it.
The 6-foot-7 forward arrived in Ann Arbor as Michigan's Mr. Basketball. His ability to knock down the corner 3, finish at the rim, and defend opposing power forwards forced John Beilein to put him in the starting lineup.
