Intoxicated Iowa defensive tackle thought police cruiser was an Uber

Brady Reiff probably won't live this one down with his buddies.

Reiff, a starting defensive tackle for Iowa, was arrested late Friday night for public intoxication after he mistook a police car for an Uber ride.

According to police, Reiff tried to open the doors of the parked cruiser when an officer asked what he was doing. When asked if he thought the police car was an Uber ride, Reiff said "yes."

He was arrested with a .204 blood-alcohol content, and his coach wasn't impressed.

"I'm not pleased about what we learned about Brady Reiff this weekend," Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said Monday at Big Ten media days.
