A brief recap of how 5-star Tulsa, Okla., safety Daxton Hill signed with Michigan football for the class of 2019. Kirkland Crawford, Detroit Free Press
Of the eight freshmen who enrolled early at Michigan this winter, Zach Charbonnet had perhaps the most hype surrounding him.
Charbonnet, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound running back from Westlake Village, California, was a 4-star prospect and the No. 46 overall recruit in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He was widely regarded as one of the top running backs in the nation and is one of the highest-ranked prospects Michigan has signed at the position in the past decade.
