Michigan's current starting quarterback and potential future starter are rooming together this season, and their shared personal quarterback coach thinks this is a good thing.
Ken Mastrole, who runs Mastrole Quarterback Academy, has worked with current Wolverine starter Jake Rudock, and John O'Korn, a transfer from Houston who must sit out this season. Rudock is a graduate transfer from Iowa, and both played quarterback for St. Thomas Aquinas in Ft. Lauderdale.
The 6-foot-4, 209-pound O'Korn, a pro-style quarterback, has been instrumental on the Wolverines' demonstration team this fall preparing the defense. Earlier this season Jedd Fisch, Michigan's passing game coordinator, said O'Korn has "confidence and moxie.
