In a game of matchups, Michigan struggled against Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska did not do a walk-through of Michigan's offense on Thursday, the first time head coach Tim Miles hasn't done that on game day in years, he said.

"We felt like they knew."

Nebraska 72, Michigan 52 proved the Cornhuskers understood the defensive game plan and had the personnel to execute it.

Mostly owing to Moritz Wagner's skill set, opponents have tried every trick in the playbook to contain the 6-foot-11 center and limit Michigan's offense. Most have been unsuccessful. The Huskers, however, forced Michigan's worst offensive performance since December of last season.
