ANN ARBOR -- Jake Moody came to Michigan Stadium on Saturday as a freshman kicker who joined the team as a walk-on during the offseason and had never attempted a field goal in his college career.
By the time his day was done, he was talking about how the team's 139-year-old record for field goals in a game "wasn't too hard to break."
Moody booted six field goals in Michigan's 31-20 win over Indiana, more than any other Michigan kicker in a single game in school history.
"Everybody put me in a good position to do it," Moody said.
