The NBA Summer League is underway, and no player scored 30 points in a game until last night when former Michigan standout Ignas Brazdeikis absolutely went off.
A second round pick of the New York Knicks, Iggy scored 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting with 3 three-pointers and 8 rebounds.
The Summer League is all about development, and Brazdeikis is showing flashes of what will make him a good pro. Iggy may not be able to do it all, but he can do a lot. Brazdeikis speed is top notch, his defensive skills are above average, he’s a reliable rebounder, and he can drain 3’s when he gets cooking.
