Ignas Brazdeikis is one of 10 finalists for the Karl Malone Award, given to the nation’s top power forward by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The Canadian freshman is joined by the likes of Duke’s Zion Williamson, as well Big Ten peer Jordan Murphy of Minnesota.
The former five-star continues his recent run on the awards circuit. He was recently named to the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20, and has earned four Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors.
He leads the team with 15.
