Minneapolis — The vibes weren’t exactly at an all-time high recently for Michigan.
Over a 10-day stretch, the Wolverines suffered a pair of last-minute losses to ranked foes Virginia and Kentucky and lost starting point guard Jaelin Llewellyn to a season-ending ACL injury.
Heading into Thursday’s Big Ten opener at Minnesota, they were licking their wounds.
“The last few days were filled with dramatic events, the two losses,” sophomore guard Kobe Bufkin said. “We felt like as a team we just needed to get over this hump. We feel like we're a very talented, very skilled team.
