What did Jordan Poole do?

He deleted his Twitter and Snapchat, and temporarily deactivated his Instagram.

“We just wanted to buckle down and stay locked in and stay focused on ourselves,” Poole said Monday, “and I feel like that’s what I did this summer all the way up until now.”

Poole’s buzzer-beating, game-winning 3-pointer against Houston in the NCAA tournament introduced him to the nation. It also brought unintended consequences — waves of attention that made social media "overwhelming.
