ANN ARBOR -- In the past four days, Michigan junior Jon Teske has scored, rebounded, and defended at a high level in two separate games, playing at least 30 minutes in each. Asked after Saturday's performance whether he could have played that much as a freshman, Teske smiled, chuckled.
"No, probably not," he said. "Maybe with a lot of breaks."
The 7-foot-1, 260-pound center played 31 minutes on Saturday in a 76-57 win over Purdue, matching a career high with 17 points, while grabbing eight rebounds. He knocked down two 3-pointers, one that buried the Boilermakers for good late in the second half.
