How Michigan basketball has adjusted since last season's sweep by MSU

For years, Michigan and Michigan State's basketball programs have been embroiled in a chess match, with each team searching for an advantage against its biggest rival.

Two seasons ago, the Wolverines diced up the Spartans' defense en route to the national title game and won both matchups, despite facing two lottery picks in Jaren Jackson and Miles Bridges. Last season, Michigan State won all three contests, stymieing Michigan's offense by switching screens and forcing the Wolverines to win one-on-one, while star point guard Cassius Winston took over on offense.

Michigan has changed a lot since then.
