Eli Brooks couldn't recall the exact date.
But at some point during Michigan basketball's recent four-game losing streak in Big Ten play, the Wolverines rededicated themselves to defense — by spending nearly an entire practice on defensive drills.
“I can’t think of what game it was, but after one of the games, we had one of those practices where, like, one-on-one, every single defensive drill you can imagine," Brooks said Friday afternoon. "And I’m not sure how much time we spent on offense but it was a lot of defense.
