ANAHEIM, Calif. — How could Texas Tech beat Michigan basketball in Thursday's Sweet 16 game?
With a taste of the Wolverines' own medicine.
Both teams have separated themselves from the rest of college basketball when it comes to defense.
Texas Tech's unit currently ranks No. 1. U-M is second.
Led by coach Chris Beard, the Red Raiders have employed a team-based approach to defense that's quite different from the Wolverines'.
"Well, they have more pressure on the ball than we do," said Michigan coach John Beilein.
