Davis Warren was Michigan’s starting quarterback to start the season but was benched in favor of Alex Orji before Week 4 vs. USC. Warren threw two touchdowns and six interceptions in those starts. However, Warren got another starting opportunity this past week against Michigan State and Warren played his cleanest game yet in a 24-17 Michigan win. Warren was 13-of-19 for 123 yards with one touchdown.
Warren said after the game that he decided to dig down and improve after his benching, vowing to be the best practice player he could be. Part of what Warren worked on was limiting turnovers.
