Amorion Walker made a detour.
After his freshman season at Michigan in 2022 as a wide receiver, he switched to cornerback in 2023. And at the end of the season, he entered the transfer portal and landed at Ole Miss. After a short stint in the SEC, Walker’s back at Michigan and is, once again, a wide receiver.
Lured by the brotherhood of Michigan football and the desire to play alongside his teammates, Walker made the decision to return to the Wolverines for his junior year after his short time with the Rebels.
“My freshman year, I was involved pretty much in the system, just slowly learning,” Walker recently told the media.
