Kelly Lytle will soak in as much as he can about this weekend.
He loved and admired his father, former Michigan tailback Rob Lytle, from the time he was a young boy.
Rob had been a star at U-M and had seven-year NFL career, even scoring a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
But as Saturday approaches, when Rob will be honored at the Michigan-BYU game for his upcoming induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, Kelly says it's "bittersweet."
Rob died of a sudden heart attack in 2010 at 56.
For the past five years, strong emotions have pulsated through family members — Kelly, his sister, Erin, and their mother, Tracy, Rob's widow.
