IOWA CITY, Iowa — No. 5 Michigan's offense is mired in a slump. That much is clear.
In a 74-59 loss at Iowa on Friday night, the Wolverines averaged just 0.808 points per possession, their lowest mark on the season.
Second-lowest: 0.818 points in a loss at Wisconsin on Jan. 19.
The common trend? Michigan lost both games, the start and end of a stretch that has seen the Wolverines average just 0.92 points per possession over the past five games.
“Just some ups and downs throughout the season that we just have to fix," point guard Zavier Simpson said.
