There's no more RichRod at the head of Arizona's football program.
But RhettRod is stepping in as the Wildcats' starting quarterback.
Rhett Rodriguez, the son of the former coach, will make his first career start when Arizona faces UCLA. He passed for 226 yards and a touchdown in last week's loss to Utah, playing in place of an injured Khalil Tate.
Rich Rodriguez spent the previous six seasons as Arizona's head coach, which was preceded by a seven-year stint at West Virginia and three years at Michigan. Rodriguez was 15-22 as the Wolverines' coach, including just 6-18 in Big Ten play.
