Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh took some time away from the office Friday for a ride-a-long with the Michigan National Guard. Their vehicle of choice? A Blackhawk helicopter.
Several college coaches have used helicopters to make recruiting splashes on football Friday in the past, but it's a good bet that Harbaugh's airborne experience was a little more souped up than the average chopper. He and several members of the National Guard took to the air, and the coach brought a football along for the trip, according to some photos posted on the football team's Twitter account Friday afternoon.
