He saved Michigan's season. Now look for a more complete Jordan Poole

ANN ARBOR -- Time had expired and Michigan was losing. The Wolverines had won a bunch of games, including their league tournament, and were a trendy Final Four pick. But all of that was about to be overshadowed -- if not forgotten -- by a second-round NCAA Tournament defeat.

In all but a tiny fraction of basketball games, trailing with zeroes on the clock leads to a loss.

But Michigan had Isaiah Livers' arm, Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman's awareness, and Jordan Poole's ice cold veins.

Michigan beat Houston to advance to the Sweet 16 and eventually reached the national championship game.
