Hawkeye runs hands Michigan loss

Winning on the road in the Big Ten isn’t easy, and for the Wolverines, it looked like an even tougher feat on Sunday after giving up the first 11 points of the game to Iowa. While the Maize and Blue ultimately fell 82-71 in the contest, it certainly wasn’t the matchup it appeared it might be at the start.

It actually didn’t take long for Michigan to make it a competitive game, using a 13-0 run to claim the lead with eight minutes left in the first half. Iowa again started strong in the second half, pulling ahead by nine, but once again the Wolverines battled back.
