Following Tuesday’s news that Kameron Chatman is transferring, Michigan basketball suddenly has two open scholarships and one of those could be going to Harold Baruit, who announced that he will visit the Wolverines.
The 6-6 guard, who is one of the top unsigned prospects in the state of Virginia, is an athletic wing that offers a great ability to get to the basket. However, he only averaged 11.6 points during his senior season and shot just 28 percent from 3-point range.
Yet, with Zak Irvin and Duncan Robinson, the Wolverines already have a pair of potent perimeter shooters — one thing Michigan basketball doesn’t have is depth on the wing.
