Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said he will know more later Tuesday about what led to tailback De'Veon Smith limping off the field late in the game at Minnesota last week.
Smith suffered a right ankle sprain against BYU and did not make the trip for the Big Ten opener at Maryland the following week. He has played since then and continues to lead the team in rushing with 451 yards and four touchdowns.
Against the Gophers, Smith had 15 yards on nine carries.
"We'll see today exactly what he's got," Harbaugh said on the Big Ten conference call Tuesday.
