Ann Arbor – Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock hasn't done anything flashy in helping to lead the 18th-ranked Wolverines, and that's just fine with coach Jim Harbaugh.
Rudock, the graduate transfer from Iowa, has completed 60 percent of his passes and has five touchdowns to six interceptions, including three in the season opener at Utah. He also has run for two touchdowns.
The Wolverines are coming off a 28-0 victory in the Big Ten opener at Maryland, their second straight shutout.
"His job is to win football games, that's what he's doing," Harbaugh said Monday at his weekly news conference.
