Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh is spending his bye-week Monday at the White House.
Harbaugh was scheduled to attend a public-awareness campaign for First Lady Michelle Obama's Reach Higher Initiative, called Better Make Room.
The target is Generation Z (children age 14-19). The proposal will focus on technology and integrating that to celebrate student stories by teaming with partners in the business, philanthropic, media and education realms. It will span the country and give students who need help tools to reach college.
Harbaugh met Obama at an education event May 1 at Wayne State, where he spoke to 2,000 high schools students.
