UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Michigan started well and ended well.
The middle? Not so much.
Either way, though, Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock finished the first half 13 of 21 for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns (with an interception), and the Wolverines took a 14-10 lead over host Penn State into halftime on Saturday.
On Michigan's first offensive possession, Rudock was 4 of 5 for 88 yards and a 26-yard touchdown to Jake Butt. On Michigan's final possession of the half, Rudock was 5 of 7 for 70 yards and a touchdown -- an 11-yarder to Amara Darboh.
