Another game, another abysmal showing from the No. 8 Michigan Wolverines (10-6-1) as they fell to the unranked Wisconsin Badgers (7-9-1) 4-0 at Yost Ice Arena Friday night.
There was hope that some home cooking and an underwhelming Wisconsin squad would provide Michigan with an opportunity to break out of its goalless drought.
Instead, it was another disheartening performance from the Wolverine attack.
Now, the Badgers deserve credit for their stout defensive structure and fantastic goaltending courtesy of Tommy Scarfone, but this was more of the same from Michigan. Its east-west movement was stymied.
