Get hyped for Frozen Four with these amazing Michigan hockey moments

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Michigan's hockey team will make its 25th appearance in the Frozen Four tonight, and MLive has counted down the days with highlights from the program's storied history.

The countdown to Thursday's 9:30 p.m. national semifinal game against Notre Dame at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota began Monday with Mike Legg's sensational lacrosse-style goal in a NCAA Tournament regional final against Minnesota in 1996.

Legg cradled the puck on his stick blade behind the Minnesota net and deposited it into the top corner, completely catching the Gophers' goalie off guard.
