CHICAGO, Ill. -- Former University of Michigan football wide receiver Devin Funchesswas selected by the Carolina Panthers on Friday evening (May 1) during the second day of the 2015 NFL Draft held at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. Funchess was drafted by the Panthers in the second round with the 41st overall choice.
"I want to thank the Panthers organization for giving me this opportunity," said Funchess. "This is truly a blessing and I can't wait to get to Carolina and get started with the team. I've been preparing myself for this moment all my life and now that it's here it gives off a surreal type of feeling.
