Competition is daily staple in the McNamara household. It's where young Cade, a four-star quarterback who committed to Michigan in March, learned at an early age that excuses get you nowhere in life. That winners learn to lead and persevere no matter the circumstances.
But no one anticipated the fall of 2015, Cade's freshman year of high school. He spoke openly about the situation with MLive last week during The Opening finals in Frisco, Texas, where he described a hellacious first year at a new school.
