The inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff (CFP) bracket was revealed on Sunday to much fanfare. Michigan was, of course, nowhere near making the bracket. But that doesn’t mean the majority of the fan base won’t be watching with a vested interest in who wins the national championship.
The Wolverines are intimately familiar with a large chunk of the field, as they played four of the 12 teams this season (Texas, Oregon, Indiana, Ohio State) and share a conference with another (Penn State). The Wolverines went 1-3 against those four teams, but fortunately won the most important of them all.
