When the Stanley Cup Playoffs started a few weeks ago, there were ten former Michigan Hockey players in the mix. Now as the Conference finals approach, there are only four Wolverines remaining, three of which are on the same team. Here’s a little update on the four guys that are left.
Jon Merrill (2011-13)
Jon Merrill won’t light up the stat sheet, but he’s always been a meaningful contributor. The defensemen was the same way in college, recording 36 assists and 11 goals in three seasons. He has appeared in all but two NHL Playoff games this year and has yet to record a point.
