Four former Michigan hockey players make 4 Nations Face-Off roster

Best-on-best international hockey is back and four Wolverines have been selected to represent Team USA.

Per an NHL.com press release, forwards Kyle Connor and Dylan Larkin, as well as defensemen Quinn Hughes and Zach Werenski, will play in the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off in Feb. 2025.

Connor has been a catalyst for the Winnipeg Jets’ hot start, recording 13 goals and 16 assists through 26 games. He’s one of the most dangerous shooters on the planet and figures to be a major piece up top for the Americans.

Michigan lifer and current Detroit Red Wings captain Larkin is also off to a strong start offensively, but on a USA team with so many top goal-scorers, expect coaches to rely on his strong, 200-foot game and defensive prowess.
