Jordan Morgan arrived in Rome and was dropped off with the keys to his new apartment.
He was basically on his own in the Eternal City, left to navigate a foreign culture and tackle the language barrier.
This was not a scenario Morgan envisioned, but it allowed the former Michigan forward to reflect on the opportunities basketball created in his life as he embarked on an overseas career.
"You think it's really taken me a long way, it's literally taken me all over the world and I'm just grateful for that," Morgan said while observing a football camp at Grand Valley State University on Saturday.
