Former University of Michigan lineman Ben Braden may finally get to see the NFL playing field.
The second-year guard from Rockford was signed from the team's practice squad this week ahead of Sunday's game against at the Tennessee Titans. He joins the 53-man roster but it remains to be seen if he is one of 46 players active for the game.
The move Wednesday coincided with left guard James Carpenter placed on the injured reserve.
The 6-foot-6, 329-pound Braden made the Jets' 53-man roster for the start of the season but was inactive for the opener against Detroit.
