The explosive display offensively that the Michigan Wolverines put on the field this weekend will be what draws the most attention of the fanbase, but a former member of the team put up an insane performance on Saturday.
Former Michigan quarterback Ren Hefley, who spent two seasons with the program as a walk-on in 2019-20, threw an FCS record 10 touchdowns in his first start for FCS Presbyterian in an 84-43 win over NAIA St. Andrews.
Hefley completed 38 of 50 passes for 538 yards and the 10 scores, the final of which came early In the fourth quarter.
