Former Michigan offensive lineman Willie Allen entered the transfer portal not even a month ago, but he has already found his new college football home — the University of Massachusetts, according to his Twitter profile.
Allen was recruited to Michigan by Ed Warinner, who is now the run-game coordinator and tackles and tight ends coach at Florida Atlantic. He transferred to Michigan from Louisiana Tech back in the fall and was competing for the open right tackle job left vacant by newly-drafted Atlanta Falcon Jalen Mayfield, but he eventually lost to Andrew Steuber this spring.
