Former Michigan guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman has signed a contract with the Canton Charge of the NBA's developmental league, known as the G-League, his agent told MLive on Thursday.
Andy Bountogianis said that Abdur-Rahkman, who played in more games than any player in Michigan basketball history and averaged 12.9 points pre game last season, signed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers' affiliate.
As a senior last season, the 6-foot-4 guard led Michigan in minutes (35.9 per game) and shot 37 percent from 3-point range. His 132 assists against just 30 turnovers gave him the best ratio in the country among players with that many assists.
