INDIANAPOLIS – Jeremy Clark’s fear was real.
Late in Michigan’s third game last season against Penn State, Clark went down on a kickoff return and tore his anterior cruciate ligament.
The U-M senior was peaking at that time, having played well early in the season at cornerback, and suddenly his world was shattered.
“As soon as it happened I had that moment, I didn’t know what was going to go on,” Clark said Sunday at the NFL combine. “It was the fear of the unknown, real nerve wracking. You try to keep yourself together, but at the same time you don’t know where your future lies.
