Former Michigan basketball commitment Isaiah Todd is one step closer to realizing his dreams of playing in the NBA.
Todd, who announced Tuesday he will forego his collegiate career to pursue professional basketball, will reportedly sign an NBA G League deal, according to Stadium's Shams Charania.
Todd will reportedly play for a new G League team in Los Angeles that will "focus on development and preparation" for the NBA, alongside fellow five-star prospect Jalen Green, who announced Thursday he will skip college basketball and play in the G League.
Todd and Green's commitment to playing in the G League appears to be the result of a push from the NBA to make the G League a more appealing option for high school players.
