ANN ARBOR -- Kanen Storr is joining the University of Michigan wrestling program.
According to an announcement from the University of Michigan wrestling program, Storr, a 2016 Leslie High School graduate who spent his first two collegiate seasons at Iowa State, will be immediately eligible as a redshirt sophomore when the 2018-19 season begins.
Storr wrestled at 141 pounds for the Cyclones from 2016-18 and finished with a 40-12 career record. The Michigan native found himself ranked as high as No. 11 in the country at one point last season according to flow wrestling.
An alleged altercation took place between Storr and a member of the coaching staff following a dual meet against West Virginia near the end of January, and Storr made it public knowledge that he became frustrated.
