The final edition of 247Sports’ 2019 football recruiting rankings were released Wednesday, and one Michigan signee moved back to the 5-star status he originally had.
Defensive tackle Chris Hinton moved from 104th to 47th overall in the final 247Sports rankings, pushing him to No. 31 on the 247Sports composite, making him a 5-star player once again. He moved out of 5-star range when he was being evaluated as a defensive end, but after his showing at defensive tackle in the Adidas All-American game, it was a no-brainer to move him back where he once was.
This gives Michigan two 5-stars in the 2019 class, with the other being safety Daxton Hill, who we will get to in just a second.
