Exploring how players who transferred out of Michigan have fared in recent years

The transfer portal giveth and taketh away. Michigan has generally been on the positive end of the spectrum when it comes to the portal, but we rarely look at who has and hasn’t excelled at new destinations after leaving Ann Arbor.

We’re going to change that today.

We’ll largely ignore the current transfer portal class as only Tommy Doman (Florida) and Cole Cabana (Minnesota) have even committed anywhere as of this writing.

The 2024 transfer portal outgoing class consisted of RB CJ Stokes (Charlotte), WR Darrius Clemons (Oregon State), WR Karmello English (West Georgia), WR Cristian Dixon (Central Missouri State), WR Eamonn Dennis (Ohio), TE Matthew Hibner (SMU), TE Josh Beetham (Georgia Tech), and OL Amir Herring (Kansas) on the offensive side of the ball.
