In the transfer portal era, it’s impossible to quantify exactly who the winners and losers are until the entire next season has been played. Some programs have overhauled their entire roster using the portal while others have simply accentuated their roster by plugging gaping holes. Michigan has tended to be the latter, but may be in the former camp this offseason.
Last offseason, the Wolverines brought in nine transfers: S Ricky Johnson (UNLV), S Jaden Mangham (Michigan State), S Wesley Walker (Tennessee), CB Aamir Hall (Albany), WR/CB Amorion Walker (Ole Miss), WR C.J. Charleston (Youngstown State), K Dominic Zvada (Arkansas State), OG Josh Priebe (Northwestern), and LB Jaishawn Barham (Maryland).
