Ex-Wolverines have Brady's back in Deflategate

When news broke Wednesday that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's appeal for his 4-game suspension was denied, word had not yet reached Braylon Edwards and Jerome Jackson.

The two former Wolverines and NFL players were speaking to inner city Detroit boys at a Youth Impact Program (YIP) gathering at Michigan Stadium at the time.

Both had their fellow Wolverine’s back.

“To me I think it’s overblown,” Edwards said. “I really do. Starting from even when they initially said he took some of the air out of the balls, they were under 13 pounds.
