John Beilein rebuilt the Michigan basketball program by luring some of Indiana's best players.
But for the second straight season, a fifth-year senior Michigan didn't want anymore will be transferring to an Indiana school.
Spike Albrecht, the fan-favorite point guard, announced on Twitter that he will attend Purdue for his fifth year.
"Excited to announce that I'll be playing my 5th year for Purdue University!! #BoilerUp"
Albrecht's decision comes a year after center Max Bielfeldt did the same thing by choosing Indiana.
"Anytime you have to play those guys, it's very awkward," U-M coach John Beilein said Monday night at the Ufer Quarterback Club dinner, where Albrecht was to receive an award.
